Abercrombie & Fitch
Take advantage of Abercrombie & Fitch’s partnership with thredUp, the world’s largest fashion resale marketplace. Send in your gently used items to be re-commerced and earn gift cards for use at A&F, Abercrombie kids, Hollister and Gilly Hicks.
Shop the Real Good label and know that these products are the most sustainable items in the Aerie collection and are manufactured in compliance with AEO’s Water Leadership Program. In-store bra recycling is currently on hold due to COVID-19.
Shop the ALDO Love Planet collection of sustainable shoes and accessories. No plastic bags here, ALDO redesigned their shoe boxes with handles to give plastic bags the slip.
American Eagle Outfitters
Shop the Real Good label and know that these products are the most sustainable items in the AEO collection and are manufactured in compliance with AEO’s Water Leadership Program. In-store denim recycling is currently on hold due to COVID-19.
Apple will buy back or recycle old Apple devices in store. Items are thoroughly inspected, and components are either reused or recycled in an environmentally responsible way.
A portion of the Chico’s Travelers® product line are made with Eastman’s Naia™ celluslosic fiber made with sustainably sourced wood. And of course, the Chico’s® brand has featured linen, a highly biodegradable fabric derived from flax, in its product lines for many years.
Extend the life of your favorite bag with complimentary leather care in-store by appointment, repair service, and customization in select stores.
Dick’s Sporting Goods
Say goodbye to single use plastic bags as Dick’s works to rid them from their stores and systems by 2025. They now adhere to the U.S. Green Building Council’s LEED® certification within their building design strategies already implemented at their distribution center in Goodyear, AZ and customer service center in Pittsburgh, PA.
A retail partner of Soles4Souls a non-profit distributes new and used shoes to those in need. Look for periodic donation drives to keep shoes out of landfills and do good all at the same time! In store, look for sustainable options from adidas using Parley Ocean Plastic, Nike products featuring the pinwheel logo.
GameStop’s trade-in program takes in software (CDs) and electronic devices and accessories that are otherwise destined for landfills and either refurbish or recycle them. In 2018 alone, GameStop refurbished over 5 million pieces of software (CDs) and over 3 million consumer electronic devices and recycled over 2.7 million pounds of e-waste.
Look for the green tag to shop the new Conscious Collection made with at least 50% sustainable materials, such as organic cotton and recycled polyester. While the in-store recycling program is on hold, a ground-breaking in store circularity machine called Looop is being tested in Stockholm. Looop shreds old garments into new ones in five hours. (note: Instagram video is impressive!)
We donate unsold merchandise through Good360, a nonprofit organization redefining charitable giving by creating a circle of good that includes companies, charities and individuals working together to make the business of giving simpler, more efficient and more effective.

For every five black pots you bring back to your local Lush store receive a free fresh face mask. The black pots are then cleaned thoroughly and ground into pellets, before being heated and remolded back into black pots for future use.
