We are currently hiring for an Assistant Store Manager at our Washington Square Location to help drive sales and create a welcoming environment for customers. As Assistant Manager you will be responsible for developing team members, achieving store goals, down time store tasks and much more. To be considered for this position we prefer 2-3 years of retail experience; 1 year of previous management desired.  This position is a minimum of 35 hours, with medical, dental and vision benefits along with holiday and vacation pay. Rate of pay is hourly and will be based off prior experience.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Drive sales and achieve personal and store goals.
• Ensures all funds and merchandise are handled according to Company policy and procedure.
• Function as Store manager's right hand for all store operations.

• Communicate with Store Manager and District Manager on issues of importance.
• Assist in placing orders and monitoring stock levels.
• Work with the store associates to ensure the neatness, maintenance and cleanliness of the store.
• Projects as assigned.
• Assisting multiple customers at once.

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• 2-3 years prior retail experience; 1 year prior management experience preferred.
